BLS for Healthcare Providers Course
Course Description
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed for a wide
variety of healthcare professionals. It teaches the ability to
recognize several life-threatening emergencies, how to
provide CPR,
use of an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective
manner.
The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or
non-licensed healthcare professionals.
Course Length: Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. We also hold classes Saturday Morning.
Intended Audience
Healthcare providers such
as physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nursing students, certified nursing assistants, dentists, dental
hygienists, dental technicians, paramedics, emergency medical
technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational
therapists, physician assistants, residents or fellows, medical students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants,
and other allied health personnel.
Student discount for any Students attending any of the Heathcare Classes at the College of Southern Nevada, UNLV, Kaplan, Nevada State College, Roseman University, ITT, Touro University, Carrington College.
Card Type: Course Completion Card valid for two years
Written/Skills Exam: Required for completion card
